Child’s Play updates fund raising numbers

The annual fund and prize drive for the Child’s Play is officially in full swing and so far the drive is well on its way to completing it’s $1 million goal. On Friday the charity’s official web site announced that they have gotten nearly $750,000 in cash, toys, games and other items for their many children’s hospitals.
One huge part of that total came from the third annual Desert Bus For Hope marathon. That event brought in a whopping $132,000 for Child’s Play this year. The charity’s official auction is still in the wings and there are still a few tickets left for the December 8 event in Seattle.
